The finalists of the 14th annual FDM everywoman in Technology Awards have been unveiled. The awards celebrate the tech industry’s most exceptional talent recognising all stages of the career journey from apprentices to C-Suite, creating role models to inspire the next generation from the UK and beyond.

Dr Paula Carey started her career in academia and co-founded Carbon8 with her colleague Professor Colin Hills. Together they developed and transformed their initial research into the decarbonisation solution presented to industry today. It is awards like this that spotlight the progress that technology industries are making and, indeed still need to make, towards equality and diversity. But, they also represent a moment to thank and recognise some of the incredible work that my team and colleagues have been doing.”
