Carbon Receives ISO Certification for Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management

Carbon8, the UK cleantech company that specialises in carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) for heavy industry and the energy-from-waste sector, has received the highest independently assessed certification for its quality management, environmental management, and health and safety management.

Following a comprehensive assessment by the UKAS-accredited British Assessment Bureau (BAB), Carbon8 has been awarded the certification of its Integrated Management System under three separate ISO standards: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Management.

John Pilkington, Chief Executive of Carbon8 said: “Achieving this certification at the first attempt and receiving a first-class report from the auditors is an immense milestone for the company and underlines our commitments to our people and to our clients.  This is a great result and is a significant boost as we take our business forward.”

The Energy from Waste sector and industries, like cement, steel, paper and pulp are all seeking cost-effective and sustainable solutions to reduce and best manage their carbon emissions and residual wastes, so our ISO accreditation underpins the quality of our operations that we can offer companies in these areas.”
