Circular Impact & Business: What does it mean for Industry?

At Carbon8, we believe in positive change through innovation. We capture and store CO₂ in new products by recovering waste that is destined for landfill. That is more than sustainability. That's Circular Impact.

Circular Impact is creating value by engineering circular and sustainable solutions, solutions that directly impact both industry, business and the environment. We specialise in disrupting the carbon value chain by turning waste products into new materials, in line with principles of the Circular Economy.

Circular Impact and Business

We offer a means to support industry transition to a more circular operation, directly offering cost savings and progressing NetZero and ZeroWaste ambitions, whilst manufacturing new products.

Circa8 Products

Direct Cost Saving - Avoiding the costs associated with carbon emissions and the treatment, transportation and landfilling of wastes presents immediate benefits to the bottom line.

Carbon Removal - Directly capture and permanently store CO₂ emitted onsite. This is an available Plug ‘n Play carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) solution.

Landfill Avoidance - Transitioning to a more circular and sustainable business includes reducing and valorising waste.

Circa8 Products - Lock captured CO₂ and former wastes in new low carbon and carbon negative products that can be used as materials in a circular value chain.

Our Solution

Carbon8 presents a real and ready Plug ‘n Play product for industry. The CO₂ntainer captures carbon from industrial plants and uses it to treat the wastes from the same plant, transforming them into new circular outputs, with a second life. These materials include CircaBuild and CircaGrow, our carbon-negative alternatives to quarried aggregate and fertiliser.

The CO₂ntainer houses the proprietary technology – Accelerated Carbonation Technology (ACT). Drawing on more than 20 years of R&D from our Scientists & Engineers, coupled with extensive trials in industry, and with EDF Group and Vicat Group as main investors, we are at the intersection of CCUS, sustainable waste management and circular building materials.
